A Note from Christina
Hi: This is Christina, Larrys wife, I came to this country 28 years ago. I met my husband when I was an exchange student. I didn't think I was going to end up here but after seven years of writing each other back and forth we decided to get married and live in a beautiful small town in Illinois called Belleville. Its about 20 miles from downtown St Louis , Mo.
When I met my husband, he was a truck driver and owned this own truck. He gave up truck driving to have a family life. Well, everything was for the best because he decided to work in what he loved to do, his Art. When I met him he did beautiful oil paintings and then wood crafting. We finally opened the studio with mainly Stained Glass. He has been making beautiful beads as a hobby for about 15 years.
You are welcome to visit our Studio. We are open Mon-Sat 9:30 am to 7:00 p.m His specialty is cabinet doors, transom and site lights. Windows depend on how big they are. Like an artist he doesn't like to do one project for too long. Many people can afford Stained Glass but don't realize it. We will be happy to make something for you.
This year I was very fortunate to have a visitor in my house. It was my brother Walter Fabio. He came from Bogota Colombia, South America. It was a wonderful surprise. He is the Artist in the family. He likes oil painting and wood crafting too. He made a hanging panel of a Dolphin. It was his first try at Stained Glass and it wasn't hard for him. The next time he comes he is going to try to make some beads. He visited ten days with my sister in Clearwater, Mn and another ten days with a sister in Bloomfield. Ct. We enjoyed his visit very much and Larry and I look forward to seeing him again next year.
Hope to be writing more from the Frog Pond soon-
