So many changes and exciting things going on ... Doing a re-vamp on the page and it's coming along nicely. Getting ready to try my hand at some ebay stuff. Not entirely sure when we are going to start that but I will keep you in the know. Ten years worth of beads is nothing to miss… Stay tuned.

Tried to make a few beads with some turquoise and black but I grabbed the wrong clear and most of them ended up not turning out. I was trying to show a friend how you can super-heat the intense black and how it makes a gorgeous silvery look. In the meantime using ivory, turquoise and black, turned out to be a really pretty bead. Inspired by the beauty of it all I hurried up and made an entire set of these little treasures and even had enough for a cute pair of earrings. Next morning when I pulled them out of the kiln they were deceivingly perfect until I started to clean them. Each one cracked and broke in my hand as I scrubbed the bead-release out of the holes. Ah, such is life. I threw the clear rod away that I now know had to be the incompatible culprit and vow to remake them with the right rods. Live and learn. Be on the lookout for them: For sale by owner to a good home. I can see these already crafted into something beautiful with some equally as gorgeous silver wire; twisted with artful skill. Like a neat, old turquoise and silver piece from the early 70’s.
